At the anchors and rappelling clinic we will teach the skills necessary to be a competent climbing partner in the outdoors.

The main skills we will teach throughout the day are: rappelling, sport climbing anchors, and cleaning anchors. This clinic is less about climbing and more about learning useful skills needed when climbing outdoors. 

We will make use of anchors boards to safely teach how to build and clean an anchor on the ground. Time permitting, we will provide each climber the opportunity to clean an anchor and rappel, with guide-supervision.

Climber Requirements: Safe top-rope belaying knowledge and skills. Ability to tie your figure eight follow-through. 

Cost Inclusions and Exclusions

Inclusions: Included in the course cost is all climbing gear, climbing permits, and the guide fee.

Exclusions: Not included in the course cost is gratuities to guide, transportation, lodging/camping fees, meals while on the course, or travel insurance.
